Onze rapportage en naleving
Adapteo zet zich in om onze CO2-voetafdruk aanzienlijk te verminderen, in lijn met de doelstellingen van de Overeenkomst van Parijs. In een belangrijke stap voorwaarts hebben we onze toezeggingsbrief ingediend bij het Science Based Target initiatief (SBTi) in december 2023, met als doel een netto nul doelstelling in 2040 en een tussentijds doel voor 2030.
Decarbonisatieplan: Voltooid in 2023 voor scopes 1 en 2 emissies, ons plan is klaar voor actie vanaf 2024. Het omvat belangrijke gebieden zoals mobiele en stationaire verbranding, verwarming en elektriciteitsgebruik.
Overgang naar hernieuwbare energie: Tegen 2024 gaan we over op 100% hernieuwbare elektriciteit en zijn we van plan om voertuigen op fossiele energie en brandstof tegen 2030 uit te faseren.
Scope 3-emissiestrategie: Voor indirecte emissies ontwikkelen we een plan in overeenstemming met de richtlijnen van SBTi voor de sectoren Bos, Land en Landbouw (FLAG) en Gebouwen.
Snelle implementatie: Ons doel is om SBTi goedkeuring te krijgen voor onze doelen en plannen in 2024, een jaar eerder dan de deadline van 2025.

In 2025, Adapteo has proven what high‑quality modular buildings can do for a resilient, low‑carbon Europe. Our spaces kept schools, healthcare, worker accommodation and critical industrial projects running, while our circular model focused on reusing modules, extending lifetimes and cutting embodied carbon. The report sets out validated science‑based climate targets to 2040, our new Circularity Index for measuring material loops, and a Social Value Creation Model that links modular space to real outcomes for communities. It also details how green financing, governance, and culture now anchor sustainability in every major decision.
Sustainability Statement 2024
In 2024, Adapteo's modular spaces served around 250,000 end-users across education, care, and other social infrastructure, supporting critical sectors while minimizing environmental impact and scaling circularity throughout our fleet. We reduced our greenhouse gas emissions by nearly 20% and achieved 100% renewable electricity across all operations. Our circular approach continues to drive progress, with 61% of delivered space coming from reused modules and 67% of material outflow being recycled or reused.
